We pour and repair concrete for homes around Raleigh, driveways, patios, walkways, and slabs, and most of the people who call us are dealing with something specific rather than shopping for a company. We got into this trade because concrete work rewards paying attention to the ground under it, and that's the part most homeowners never see.
If you're on this page, there's a decent chance your driveway is cracked, your patio has a low corner that holds water, or a walkway heaved after a wet winter. We look at what's actually causing it, usually a subgrade that wasn't compacted right or a slab poured without enough joints, before we ever talk about pouring anything new. Fixing the cause is the difference between a repair that holds for five years and one that just covers the problem back up.
None of this is complicated. It is mostly just doing what we said we would do.
We carry the license and insurance a concrete job actually calls for, not just a business card. If a certificate would help you sleep at night, we'll get you one before we break ground.
Our quotes list the square footage, the slab thickness, and the finish so you know exactly what you're paying for. No verbal number that changes once the truck's already on site.
Ready-mix trucks run on their own schedule, so we build start times around the batch plant, not the other way around. If weather pushes a pour, we call you before the truck is loaded, not after.
The same guys who set your forms are the ones running the trowel on finish day. That matters on a broom finish or a stamped job, where the timing between steps decides how it looks.
Piedmont clay swells when it's wet and shrinks hard in a dry summer, and a slab poured on top of it without proper compaction will crack or heave within a couple of years. We grade and compact for that soil specifically, not for a generic subgrade off a spec sheet.
Washout water is caustic enough to kill grass and stain a driveway, so we never rinse a chute on your lawn or in the street. Forms, stakes, and leftover mix all leave with us when the job's done.
